LeapFrog Magic Touch Review
It's no secret that I am a HUGE LeapFrog fan. It's a brand that I have been partial too since my oldest was a baby.....and he's 14. My daughter now 2, is no different than my older children, and she also has her fair share of LeapFrog toys. We had the pleasure of getting to try a couple of the new LeapFrog toys from the Touch Magic line and were, like always, very pleased with the products.
The Touch Magic Line consists of
- Touch Magic Learning Bus
- Touch Magic Rockin' Guitar
- Touch Magic Counting Train
- Touch Magic Discovery Town
In a day and age where everything is becoming touch technology, LeapFrog has followed suit with their new Touch Magic line from LeapFrog. I can attest for these toys when I say that they provide lots of play time. They are not a play it once and to the bottom of the toy box it rests. The toys recognize every tap, touch and swipe and really gives the kids the feeling like they're just playing with a really cool toy, and they don't even realize they're learning in the process. The Magic Touch toys are recommended for ages 3 and up, but my daughter is 2 and she is soaking up information like a sponge right now, so I loved the fact that these toys are already teaching her new words, the alphabet, her numbers, and sight recognition. This is perfect for her.
Rockin' Guitar and Learning Bus
While I didn't have the opportunity to try the whole line of Magic Touch, we did receive the Rockin' Guitar and the Learning Bus to play with. My son's little brother even got to come over and test out his rockin' skills on the Rockin' Guitar......he ended up taking that one home he loved it so much.
There are 10 built in songs included in the guitar. Some of my favorite classics are included like Rockin' Robin, If You're Happy and You Know It, Pop Goes the Weasel, and the Itsy Bitsy Spider.
The Learning Bus is filled with educational discovery and games. They can wither play games with the letters and numbers, or play with the piano keys to make fun tunes. The Bus has several fun songs on it as well like The Wheels on the Bus (of course), the ABC song, and the Rockin' School Bus.
There are over 200 learning and musical responses with the Learning Bus and it can switch between 3 modes: Learning, Letter Exploration, and Music. What's really cool, is that because both toys act as a musical instrument, little ones can make their own little band.
Another of my favorite features of Touch Magic toys are a flat surface which makes them incredibly easy to clean. I just take a disinfectant wipe and run it across the surface. That is very important for me, especially with little kids and germs.

Where can I purchase a LeapFrog Touch Magic Toy?
The LeapFrog Touch Magic toys can be purchased at nearly any location you can think of. You can find them online at Leapfrog.com, as well as at Walmart, Target and other major retail stores for around $22.
Of course there is also my favorite place to shop, Amazon, who also carries them for the same price including Free Super Saver Shipping.
