The Housewives of Miami

Get used to hearing the names Larsa Pippen, Cristy Rice, Alexia Echevarria, Marysol Patton, Lea Black, Adriana DeMoura Sidi, and Elsa the "Seer" :). They are the stars of the newest series of Housewives franchise that is taking over the family room televisions in so many homes these days, and it will be premiering tonight at 10/9c. (Well, some of you lucky gals, and guys maybe, may have gotten to see the early viewing after the Andy Cohen show a couple of nights ago). If you didn't, then get ready to watch tonight.  I myself, can already tell this may very well be one of the craziest, wildest housewives series yet.  Here's why.....

Well, maybe you won't see too much wild and crazy from this gal >>>>Larsa Pippen. She is the wife of retired NBA big shot, Scottie Pippen, who happened to be one of my favorites from the Bulls way back...well, anyway. She is considered to be the "Hottest NBA wife" a title well deserved as she is gorgeous. She and her husband have been married for well over a decade, and anyone knows that in Celebrity years, that is a lifetime. About the only scandalous thing I could see about this couple was financial troubles. They are estimated to have lost around 120 million dollars in bad investments. Her husband, during the last couple of years went to court and won a settlement of about $2 million on a boat deal. Looking at her, you couldn't tell anything about their financial woes. But that's how a Housewife is supposed to act if you're on TV. Right?

Meet Adriana de Moura-Sidi, the fiery hot Brazilian full of Sass!  Recently divorced from her ex husband, she soon after became engaged to "Fredric".  Not only is she gorgeous, and sassy, she's also a mother of 1, and a well known art curator.  Take a look at her gallery.  She has a bit of a reputation as being quite the flirt, and very feisty.  This alone seems to cause her to be the topic of conversation with other wives at times.

Alexia Echeverria has been called the "Cuban Barbie", and she is the executive editor of Venue Magazine in which she keeps up with latest fashion trends and also up and coming Latin stars. She resides in her Miami Beach home with husband, Herman, and her 2 sons from a previous marriage.  There really isn't much else to read about here.  At least not floating around in Cyber Space anyway.  That's considered a good thing usually.

Lea Black is a Beautiful Texas Native, married to the renowned defense attorney, Ray Black.  They met actually when she served on a jury for a case he was represented.  She is very respected in the community and looked upon as a leader.  Her time is spent raising her young son, and working on the success of her own charity.  Consequences Charity, which is a charity for troubled youth.

Oh my, my, my. This one here, Cristy Rice, may very well be the most controversial in all housewife history. That's assuming details of her sordid past surface during the series. She is the ex-wife of Glen Rice, NBA Player. If you haven't heard of him, you may remember a story of his arrest back in 2008 after he came home and caught one certain Alberto Perez in the closet of his estranged wife, being yes, Cristy Rice. Several stitches later to Perez's head, Rice turned himself into police for this assault charge, but was released shortly after. If that isn't enough, Cristy Rice has also been linked one Luis Fonsi, and rumored to be the cause of his divorce from cancer survivor wife, Adarami. Read more on that. The show already has given hints of her coming relationship drama throughout coming episodes. Her time is split between night clubs and dancing, taking care of her 5 children, 3 of which are hers and Ex Husband, and 2 step children. She also owns a kids clothing boutique that is online only now, named Bri Bri Boutique after her daughter.

Marysol Patton. This should be an interesting duo. Although Marysol's mother, Elsa Patton, is not one of the housewives, I think she is going to make a very interesting addition to the show. She is very humerous without trying. (Is it just me, or does she look like Jocelyn Wildenstein aka Cat Woman?) On the first episode she digs into her daughters life asking questions about sex life with the Frenchman, Phylippe Pautste, Marysol is engaged to. Marysol is obviously embarrassed by the line of questioning, so answers quickly and then moves onto the next topic, trapping her fiance.

Second reason I think, at least Elsa will be a great addition, is because of her "psychic" ability. Or as they refer to her as, a "Seer".

....and the last reason, well take a look at the picture below with these two. Mother/Daughter mugshots. Marysol was arrested for DUI last year in January, and her mother followed suit being arrested for the same charge later last year in October. Hmm. Interesting.

On that note, I'm going to end this. I've been watching the first episode again, and now it's almost time to tune in to Live with Andy Cohen. Yes, I am a loser, and have no life, and love watching pointless shows like this, but hey. That's what The Housewives of Boredandnothingelsetodo, like to do!
